Pizzas and Pastas are catching up and becoming the most popular food for today's Bangaloreans and more particularly for the teenagers. A Pizza joint in the east end of the city is a new addition to the several pizza outlets, whose garlic breads and wide variety of Pizzas and Pastas are worth a try..Debolina Coomar reviews.

The Pizzeria
in Kasturi Nagar, Banaswadi Bangalore

Want to relish a yummy thin-crust pizza delivered at your door step or sizzling pasta and garlic bread for a quick party snack? Friends, now there is one more option in the eastern part of the city other than Dominos and Pizza Hut - The Pizzeria.

An outlet of The Pizzeria located in Kasturinagar has been the latest exploration to satisfy my taste receptors. I completely love their wood baked thin-crust pizzas with a wide variety of veg and non-veg toppings and their good spread of Italian menu choices ranging from crostini, bruschetta, lasagna, pasta and salads. All of this at your doorstep if you are luckily residing close-by else a good option for take away. They home deliver warm pizzas and garlic breads with proper packaging. The place is yet to evolve as a proper dining eatery due to space constraint but definitely one can drop by for a quick munch. The Pizzeria has another outlet in Ram Murthy Nagar opposite Food Bazaar.

Mostly all types of Italian toppings are available. Both veg and non-veg pizzas are available in 9 inch and 11 inch, quite sumptuous for two people with a good mix of extra toppings. Following is a brief glance at their menu for the readers:

Starter startle:
Includes variety of garlic breads with chicken/prawn/tuna in non-veg, veg/no-veg crostini and bruschetta. 4 full slices of bread is quite sufficient as a starter.

Salad bar:
Includes a blend of veg and non-veg salads garnished with vegetables tossed in olive oil and imported wine vinegar. The non-veg salads are served with farmers' bread.

Pizza palette:
Includes a good range of veg/non-veg thin-crust pizzas with assorted toppings. Starting with the basic Margarita, Exotica, the veg list also inclcudes the spicy Sicilia and Tabasco with toppings from basil, Italian herbs, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella and pineapple, mushroom and much more. The non-vegeterian segment has a huge option of chicken sausage, salami, lamb, tuna, ham, squids and eggs to choose from. Al Pollo, Sufi, Al Tonno, Ffrutta di mare are few exotic nomenclature.

Tabasco has been my personal favorite (our usual order at Little Italy) is a perfect blend of tomato and tabasco sauce and mozzarella topping sprinkled with jalapeno and sun dried tomatoes. A recommendation for the veggies for a spicy treat.

Pasta pocket:
The veg variety includes the usual Arrabiata, Alfrdo with parmesan, Al Forno with béchamel sauce and others with exciting veg delicacies.

The non-veg list Bolognese with lamb mince and red wine, Gamberi with a dash of vodka, parsley and prawns, Prescotora with white wine soaked prawns and herbs among many others. Carbonara with pan fried bacon, onion and egg is quite delectable.

Baked basket includes cheese and lamb lasagna and Spinach Cannelloni servings.

Finally, the dessert delight is not an extensive list but surely includes muddy chocolate fantasy and walnut brownie.

Hopefully, readers will find their choice of palate in The Pizzeria menu. And before I miss to mention, the price tags are quite reasonable. So try out some exotic pizza-licous treat at The Pizzeria, Kasturinagar and don't forget to let us know your experience. And if you stay anywhere near that area, order today (mobile - 9739871033/9538980630) and start licking your fingers relaxing on your sofa!

Love to rate them 4/5 and hope they flourish in days to come.
